*UPDATED* HPM Fiber Optic Network Installation
Scope: to supply and install a fiber optic network to support the deployment of a 10G IP and Audio network within its Studio facility. The vendor will need to supply all of the hardware, cable and physical infrastructure required to install the fiber optic network. HPM will supply the all of the network switching equipment and racks to accommodate the fiber patch system at each location to be fed from the network. The fiber interconnects will be run in conduit, under existing raised computer floor and through ceilings. The fiber cable will need to be 50/125, OM3, plenum rated and armored. The standard terminations will be SC and the cable will need to operate multi-mode. Vendors can either pull cable and terminate on site or install pre-terminated cables. Cables must be supported by “J” hooks when run through the ceiling or raised floor. Some penetrations will be required through sound attenuated walls. These will require feed through glands and have to be fire sealed after installation. The cables will terminate in a patch – splice enclosure. At the IDF or switch locations these enclosures will be 3-4 unit, 19 inch rack mount with 12 adaptor spaces for terminations. The adaptor terminations will be 6 dual SC barrels on each panel. In the terminal locations the enclosures will be 1 unit, 19 inch rack mount with 3 adaptor spaces for terminations. A full Bill of material is attached as Exhibit E A network design is attached as Exhibit F Vendors will need to complete a site inspection to validate cable lengths, installation locations and cable paths.
