The Automotive Distribution Network said following a successful merger between shareholder Automotive Aftermarket Holdings Company (AAHC) and DYK Automotive to form Highline Aftermarket LLC, that the expanded new entity will remain a group shareholder.

The Automotive Distribution Network announced that following a successful merger between its Olive Branch, Miss.-based shareholder Automotive Aftermarket Holdings Company (AAHC) and DYK Automotive to form Highline Aftermarket LLC, that the expanded new entity will remain a group shareholder.

“AAHC and DYK are recognized as leaders in specialty distribution to the industry, so the Network is pleased that Highline Aftermarket has elected to maintain its membership after a successful merger,” says David Prater. “With Highline Aftermarket and its divisions onboard, the Network will continue to benefit from purchase power on nontraditional product lines, while providing the ability to joint purchase via the Network Products co-op warehouse.”

Network shareholder programs and rebates will immediately be made available for Highline Automotive and all its consolidated divisions.

“We feel the Network is the right partner to continue expanding right along with us as the company moves forward as Highline Automotive, LLC,” says Mike Wiegand, AAHC’s longtime vice president of purchasing/supply chain, who will remain with the expanded organization. “Collectively, our focus has been high volume and velocity commodity products whereas most of the Network members are focused on traditional hard parts, so we remain very complementary to one another.”
