LEH, Oct 4: People of Zanskar valley are facing multiple problems due to breakdown of BSNL network.
According to the reports, for last about 15 days, there is no network of BSNL in this remote area of Ladakh region and people are suffering badly as there is no other source through which local can connect themselves with their near and dears living in various parts of the State.
Reports said that there is no presence of any private telecom operator in the Zanskar valley other than BSNL neither there are any PCOs, as after BSNL registered its presence in the area, owners closed their PCOs, as they were suffering loss.
Now, when there is no network of BSNL for last about 15 days, students and other people who reside out of Zanskar are unable to contact their near and dear ones. The students are most affected as they are not able to discuss their issues with their family whether financial or personal.
The residents of Zanskar valley has appealed the higher officials in BSNL to remove the fault if any and restore the network in the interest of local masses.
