Debina Bonnerjee turns queen of naagins in 'Santoshi Maa'

Debina Bonnerjee, when offered two shows at the same time, chose to take up 'Dr Madhumati on Duty' over 'Santoshi Maa'. But the irony is that the show is wrapping up within two months of its launch. The show, which was supposed to end on September 30, has been extended by 15 days.

And this time, she has taken it up.Debina will be seen in a negative role — Swarnagini, the queen of snakes. She says, “Back then, the makers of 'Santoshi Maa' confirmed me on their show an hour after I gave my nod to 'Madhumati'. I am excited that the role has come back to me. It’s a huge coincidence as no one waits for any actor. I will shoot for the new show immediately after wrapping up the old one.”
