— -- It's time to update our preseason look at the some of the best and worst statistical nuggets for all 32 NFL starting quarterbacks.

Matt Ryan, who somehow finished the 2015 season with one touchdown and 10 interceptions on throws between the hash marks, has had no such trouble through Week 4. Other QBs have fluctuated in their performances as well. Another trip into ESPN's data warehouse shows how.

We've got a good stat and a bad one for every starter -- 64 numbers in all, including some that will surprise.

ARI | ATL | BAL | BUF | CAR | CHI | CIN | CLE | DAL | DEN | DET | GB | HOU | IND | JAC | KC | LA | MIA | MIN | NE | NO | NYG | NYJ | OAK | PHI | PIT | SD | SF | SEA | TB | TEN | WAS

Arizona Cardinals

Carson Palmer

Hot: Palmer has six TDs with one INT and a 67.9 Total QBR in three home games this season.

Not: Palmer has three TDs with eight INTs and a 36.9 Total QBR in his past six fourth quarters, dating to the Cardinals' wild-card playoff game last season.

Atlanta Falcons

Matt Ryan

Hot: Ryan has three TDs with no INTs on passes thrown between the hashes. That's a huge improvement from 2015, when he had one TD pass with 10 INTs on such throws.

Not: Ryan owns the only red zone interception against the Raiders this season. The pick, thrown from the 11-yard line with Atlanta trailing 14-13 in the third quarter, cost the Falcons 21.5 percent in win probability.

Baltimore Ravens

Joe Flacco

Hot: Flacco has three TD passes with no INTs when targeting Mike Wallace.

Not: Flacco has one TD with four INTs when targeting anyone besides Wallace.

Buffalo Bills

Tyrod Taylor

Hot: Taylor has four TD passes with one INT, a 102.5 passer rating and 77.4 Total QBR against AFC East teams this season.

Not: Taylor has no TD passes with one pick and six sacks against teams outside the AFC East.

Carolina Panthers

Cam Newton

Hot: Newton's connection with receiver Kelvin Benjamin remains strong. He has completed 15 of 24 passes for 226 yards, four TDs and one INT when targeting the third-year receiver.

Not: Newton ranks 29th out of 32 qualifying quarterbacks in Total QBR (29.8) after halftime this season, ahead of only Case Keenum, Cody Kessler and Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Chicago Bears

Brian Hoyer

Hot: Hoyer has completed 24 of 25 passes for 263 yards with four TDs and no INTs when targeting Zach Miller and Eddie Royal.

Not: Hoyer's completion percentage falls off a cliff on passes traveling more than 15 yards past the line of scrimmage. He has completed two of 11 attempts on throws of 16-20 yards downfield and none of his six such attempts targeting Kevin White.

Cincinnati Bengals

Andy Dalton

Hot: Dalton has completed eight of 10 attempts, with one TD and no picks, on passes traveling more than 20 yards past the line of scrimmage. That's an improvement from 2015, when he went 19 of 46 with six TDs and four INTs on such throws.

Not: Dalton ranks 27th out of 32 qualifying quarterbacks in Total QBR (20.5) on third down, a big drop from last season (62.8), when Tyler Eifert was a preferred third-down target.

Cleveland Browns

Cody Kessler

Hot: Despite limited playing time, Kessler has completed two of four passes traveling 25-plus yards past the line of scrimmage. For some context, Brock Osweiler and Jameis Winston are 2-of-11 on such throws, Carson Palmer is 2-of-10, and Blake Bortles is 1-of-10.

Not: Kessler has gained little traction in important situations. He has completed four of 12 passes for 53 yards, no TDs and one INT in fourth quarters and overtime when the score differential was within eight points.

Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott

Hot: Prescott is one of 21 players with at least 130 pass attempts this season, and he is the only one who has not thrown an interception.

Not: Prescott's Total QBR drops from a league-best 92.4 in the first three quarters of games to a 19th-ranked 42.2 in the fourth quarter. Seeing Cole Beasley open deep in the final 40 seconds of an opening-week defeat to the Giants would have pumped up Prescott's fourth-quarter QBR.

Denver Broncos

Trevor Siemian

Hot: Siemian has completed 18 of 22 passes for 275 yards with two TDs, no INTs and a 98.7 Total QBR when targeting Demaryius Thomas.

Not: Siemian has completed 18 of 30 passes for 217 yards with two TDs, two INTs and a 51.3 Total QBR when targeting Emmanuel Sanders.

Detroit Lions

Matthew Stafford

Hot: Stafford thrived when RB Ameer Abdullah was on the field, completing 24 of 33 passes (72.7 percent) for 253 yards, two TDs and an 86.1 Total QBR. (Abdullah is out with a potentially season-ending foot injury.)

Not: Stafford has one TD pass with three INTs when targeting tight end Eric Ebron. That's a big change from last season, when Stafford had five TDs with one INT on throws to Ebron.

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers

Hot: Rodgers has seven TDs with no INTs in first halves.

Not: Rodgers has no TDs with one INT in second halves. It's the first time since Rodgers' his first season as a starter (2008) that he has gone without a second-half TD through the Packers' first three games. He had five TDs with no picks in second halves at this point last season.

Houston Texans

Brock Osweiler

Hot: Osweiler has averaged 9.5 yards per attempt with two TDs and no picks when targeting rookie Will Fuller.

Not: Osweiler has averaged 6.9 yards per attempt with two TDs and five INTs when targeting DeAndre Hopkins.

Indianapolis Colts

Andrew Luck

Hot: Luck has a league-high six TD passes with one INT in fourth quarters. He led the NFL in fourth-quarter Total QBR last season (80.5) and ranks sixth so far this season (80.6).

Not: Luck has two TDs with two INTs and is tied with Andy Dalton for the league high with 10 sacks in the first three quarters of games.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Blake Bortles

Hot: Bortles has four TDs and no INTs when throwing outside the yard-line numbers on the right side. (His TD-INT ratio sits at 3-6 in all other quadrants of the field.)

Not: Bortles has one TD and a league-high four INTs on third down. His 11.1 Total QBR on third down ranks 29th out of 32 qualifying quarterbacks.

Kansas City Chiefs

Alex Smith

Hot: Smith has completed 72.8 percent of his passes with three TDs, one INT, a 100.8 passer rating and 65.8 Total QBR in two home games.

Not: Smith ranks 30th out of 32 qualifying QBs in Total QBR (39.8). He has never finished with a rating lower than 50, which is average, in any full season since 2011.

Los Angeles Rams

Case Keenum

Hot: Keenum has completed eight of 14 passes for 153 yards and three TDs without an INT when targeting Brian Quick.

Not: Keenum ranks last in Total QBR (32.8) and has twice as many sacks (eight) as scoring passes (four).

Miami Dolphins

Ryan Tannehill

Hot: Tannehill ranks second behind Ben Roethlisberger with three TD passes on throws traveling more than 20 yards past the line of scrimmage. Roethlisberger has five.

Not: Tannehill's Total QBR falls from 70.9 on first down to 51.1 on second down to 9.5 on third down.

Minnesota Vikings

Sam Bradford

Hot: Bradford is completing 68.8 percent of his passes (11-of-16) on throws traveling 11-20 yards past the line of scrimmage. Only Philip Rivers has a higher completion rate on these passes.

Not: Bradford ranks 20th in Total QBR on third down (41.6). He averages 6.1 yards per attempt on these throws, which ranks 27th. Five third-down sacks contribute to Bradford ranking 30th in yards per pass play on third down (4.3).

New England Patriots

Tom Brady

Hot: Brady, scheduled to make his 2016 debut in Week 5, has shined upon returning from an absence previously. He passed for 378 yards with an 85.7 Total QBR against Buffalo in the 2009 opener, his first game back from knee surgery.

Not: Brady's second game back from that knee surgery was less memorable. He tossed no TD passes and an interception in a 16-9 defeat at the Jets.

New Orleans Saints

Drew Brees

Hot: Brees has completed 15 of 18 passes (83.3 percent) for 249 yards with two TDs and no INTs when targeting Willie Snead. That works out to 13.8 yards per attempt.

Not: Brees is completing 48.1 percent of his passes with one TD when targeting tight end Coby Fleener. Last season, he was very efficient when throwing to TEs: 66.9 completion rate, 11 TDs and two INTs.

New York Giants

Eli Manning

Hot: Manning has been especially productive in second quarters, completing 82.1 percent of his passes with two TDs, no INTs, a 124.7 passer rating and 92.9 Total QBR. He has averaged 9.8 yards per pass attempt in the quarter.

Not: Manning has a league-high four INTs against five or more pass-rushers. He completed 2 of 8 passes for 7 yards in those situations Monday night.

New York Jets

Ryan Fitzpatrick

Hot: Fitzpatrick has completed 65.7 percent of his passes, with three TDs, no INTs, a 120.5 passer rating, no sacks and an 84.0 Total QBR, in second quarters.

Not: Fitzpatrick has zero TDs with eight INTs in fourth quarters. Since 2015, Fitzpatrick has more INTs in fourth quarters (16) than in the previous three quarters combined (nine).

Oakland Raiders

Derek Carr

Hot: Carr has taken sacks on a league-low 1.3 percent of pass plays, despite holding the ball longer before throwing -- 2.55 seconds on average -- than all but nine qualifying quarterbacks.

Not: Carr's passer rating and Total QBR fall off sharply from first and second down to third down. He ranks 30th out of 32 qualifying quarterbacks in yards per attempt on third down (5.6). Only Alex Smith and Blaine Gabbert rank lower.

Philadelphia Eagles

Carson Wentz

Hot: Wentz has zero turnovers through his first 202 regular-season snaps. His fellow rookie Dak Prescott is the only other NFL quarterback with at least 200 snaps and no turnovers.

Not: It's tough to find fault with Wentz statistically, but he has taken three of his four sacks on third down, and that has contributed to his 31.6 Total QBR on third down.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger

Hot: Roethlisberger has been sensational on third down, averaging 10.0 yards per pass attempt with four TDs, zero INTs, a 130.9 passer rating and 92.2 Total QBR.

Not: Roethlisberger threw zero TD passes during a 34-3 defeat at Philadelphia in Week 3. He has zero TDs in four of his past 10 games, including playoffs (he has 18 TDs in the other six games).

San Diego Chargers

Philip Rivers

Hot: Rivers has six TDs with only one INT in two home games.

Not: Rivers has taken a league-high four sacks in the red zone, a leading reason he ranks 25th in red zone Total QBR (21.9).

San Francisco 49ers

Blaine Gabbert

Hot: Gabbert has solid numbers in first quarters, completing 70.4 percent of his passes with a 7.6-yard average per attempt, a 104.7 passer rating and 91.4 Total QBR.

Not: Gabbert averages 3.8 yards per attempt on third down, by far the lowest figure among 32 qualifying quarterbacks. Alex Smith is 31st at 5.1. The average is 7.4 yards.

Seattle Seahawks

Russell Wilson

Hot: Wilson has averaged 10.0 yards per attempt with four TDs, no INTs, a 125.7 passer rating and 87.6 Total QBR his past two games.

Not: Wilson has struggled on third down. He has completed only 48.5 percent of his passes with no TDs, one INT and a 22.0 Total QBR.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jameis Winston

Hot: Winston has more TD passes against the Rams this season (three) than Carson Palmer (one), Blaine Gabbert (one) and Russell Wilson (zero) combined.

Not: Winston is tied for the league high with 10 turnovers. He has a league-high 16 turnovers since Week 13 of the previous season, far more than the other NFC South quarterbacks (Cam Newton has 9, Matt Ryan 8, and Drew Brees 5).

Tennessee Titans

Marcus Mariota

Hot: Mariota has more TD passes against Minnesota this season (two) than Aaron Rodgers and Cam Newton combined. Mariota's QBR against the Vikings (52.5) was higher than those for Rodgers (51.6) and Newton (16.3).

Not: Mariota, ranked 31st out of 32 qualifying quarterbacks in Total QBR, has zero TDs with three INTs when targeting free-agent addition Rishard Matthews.

Washington Redskins

Kirk Cousins

Hot: Cousins has completed 72.5 percent of his passes, with two TDs, no INTs, no sacks, a 110.2 passer rating and 86.2 Total QBR, in first quarters.

Not: Cousins' second-half Total QBR (40.0) cannot compare to his 80.7 figure for first halves. He has two picks and a 5.7 QBR in the red zone after halftime.
