It has been four long years since fans last saw Bella Swan and Edward Sullen together in “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 2.” Their fans can now be hopeful, since the reports of a new “Twilight” movie are coming up. This would mean that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be reuniting onset after their breakup.

Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Co-Chairman Patrick Wachsberger told Screen Daily in an interview that the company might present another part to the “Twilight” series. “It’s a possibility,” he answered when asked about another episode in the Robert-Kristen behemoth. He said that it’s not a certainty, but it is possible. He added it’s about Stephenie Meyer, that if she wants to tell a story related to those characters, Lionsgate is ready to present it onscreen.

The plot for the upcoming movie is still unsure but fans have already been coming up with different theories including a spinoff. There is a possibility of a time jump where Renesmee is grown up. There is another possibility of Renesmee falling in love with another human being which will cause chaos because Jacob has already imprinted on her.

The “Twilight” film series ended in 2012. There are still two more books in the “Twilight” series that could become films. In 2010, Stephenie released “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner,” which was a “Twilight” spinoff told through the eyes of Bree Tanner. Also, in 2015, she released “Life and Death: Twilight Re-imagined” which tells the classic “Twilight” story with the main characters’ genders reversed.

No official statement has been released regarding the new “Twilight” movie. But considering the success of the “Twilight” franchise, it makes sense that Lionsgate would be eager to revisit that property. Stephenie herself introduced the subject back in 2012, noting that she “planned out where (the story) would go on for a couple more books” past the final instalment, “Breaking Dawn,” as she said in 2012 (via ThePlaylist).
