3 bodies found in Panipat

PANIPAT: Three bodies were found in the district today. Ramratan, in-charge of 8 Marla police post, said the body of Amit (18) of Shamli in Uttar Pradesh was found in the Western Yamuna Link Canal in Khubru village of the district.

Three bodies were found in the district today.

Ramratan, in-charge of 8 Marla police post, said the body of Amit (18) of Shamli in Uttar Pradesh was found in the Western Yamuna Link Canal in Khubru village of the district. He had been missing since September 30 and his relatives alleged some youths had pushed him into the canal.

A body was recovered near Dhindar village and the deceased has been identified as Jagraj of Behraich district in UP. Madhav, a relative of the deceased, alleged he had been murdered.

In another incident, Munna (30), a resident of Gopalganj, Bihar, was found dead in a drain near Sewah village. The police said Munna went in search of work on Sunday, but did not return. — TNS
