On Gandhi Jayanti WATCH — BCCI, Virat Kohli & Co pay rich tributes to Father of Nation

New Delhi: Today is 2nd October, and this day is celebrated as the birthday of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the "Father of the Nation" as Gandhi Jayanti.

Indian team is currently playing the Test match against New Zealand at Eden Gardens. On this occasion, team India did something incredible to pay tribute to Gandhi Ji.

Virat Kohli along with Ravinder Jadeja and the BCCI President Anurag Thakur participated in #SwachhBharatAbhiyan #MyCleanIndia campaign.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Campaign on this day in 2014.

Virat missed his half-century in the second innings by 2 runs, was joined by other team mates to help him in the cause.
