Naxal surrenders in Rajnandgaon
Rajnandgaon: A naxal carrying a Rs 5 lakh reward on his head surrendered before the police in Chhattisgarh's Rajnandgaon district on Sunday.
The cadre identified as Suresh Kumar Minj, 27, who functioned as an area committee member under Kutul area committee of Maoists turned himself in citing disappointment with the Maoist ideology and their violent activities, Rajnandgaon Superintendent of Police Prashant Agrawal said.

Minj also used to look after Janatana Sarkar school wing of Maoists, he added. According to the SP, a native of Sendawadih village under Sitagaon police station area of Rajnandgaon, Minj had studied till Class 7 in Raigarh district of the state at his maternal grandfather's place. Agencies
