Delhi girls win badminton c’ship

MANDI: Kavya and Anamika of Delhi won the girls’ double North-Zone Badminton Championship here today by defeating their rival Garima and Divyanshi of Chandigarh in a tough competition.

Kavya and Anamika of Delhi won the girls’ double North-Zone Badminton Championship here today by defeating their rival Garima and Divyanshi of Chandigarh in a tough competition. In the male category, Kamlajeet and Sumit of Chandigarh won the first prize by defeating their arch rival Swaran Raj and Kaustubh of Delhi.

In single category male, Love Kumar of Chandigarh won the title, while in women category, Priyanka of Rajasthan won the championship. The four-day-long North-Zone Badminton Championship concluded here today in which around 140 players from various states took part. — TNS
