Nadhiya to star in a woman-only thriller

Remember Priyadarshan���s Snegithiye? That film, which starred Jyotika and Tabu, had a cast of mainly featuring female characters. Now, Malayalam filmmaker Thulaseedas is making a bilingual film that has only female actors as part of its cast. Titled Thiraiku Varadha Kadhai (Girls in Malayalam), the film is a suspense thriller involving a ghost.
���The film does not have any male character ��� not even in the background. Nadhiya and Ineya star in this film, the plot of which, revolves around a group of girls ��� filmmaking students ��� who go deep into a forest to shoot their diploma film. And they find that whatever they had planned to shoot had actually happened in real life ��� hence the title Thiraiku Varadha Kadhai,��� explains Thulaseedas, whose previous Tamil film was the 1994 film Veetai Par Naatai Par.
���This is the 35th film in my career, and I was very keen on doing a Tamil film once again, and that is how we decided to make this film as a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual,��� adds the filmmaker.
