Sebastien Ogier seals Tour de Corse victory

Sebastien Ogier sealed a first victory in Corsica by winning the Che Guevara Energy Drink Tour de Corse on Sunday.

The Frenchman, bidding for his fourth world rally drivers' championship, led the three-day race round the Mediterranean island from start to finish and was unchallenged over almost 400km of the mountainous route.

After dominating to build a comfortable lead after the opening leg, Ogier was able to measure his pace in the Volkswagen Polo R to negotiate wet conditions and win by 46.4 seconds.

The 32-year-old, who leads the drivers' standings, was joined on the podium by team mate and closest challenger Andreas Mikkelsen while Thierry Neuville split the two Polo R drivers by finishing second in his Hyundai i20.
