Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Oct 2 2016 7:18PM Das calls for strengthening of panchayats to realise dream of SwarajRanchi, Oct 2 (UNI) Underlining the role of Panchayats in the development of the nation, Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said 'father of the nation' Mahatma Gandhi had visualised Swaraj through strengthening the panchayats. “Since the concept of Panch Parmeshwar has been in vogue from the very beginning, so we can realise the development of the villages through strengthening the panchayats,” Mr Das said it while participating in a meeting of a gram sabha at Khatgaon village of Gagari Panchayat at Ormanjhi. He said Gagari was the village of martyrs Seikh Bhikhari and Umraon Singh Tikait who had waged a war against the British for Swaraj.
