BHUBANESWAR: Anti-liquor campaigners under the aegis of Milita Odisha Nisha Niabaran Abhiyan (MONNA) on Saturday submitted signatures of five lakh people to chief minister Naveen Patnaik demanding ban on production, sale and consumption of liquor in the state.
The campaigners took out a procession from Chitrakut Ashram in Unit-9 till Reserve Bank of India office and then marched to towards the chief minister's office with to deliver their peition along with the signatures.
They demanded immediate implementation of Orissa Prohibition Act, 1956.
