AHMEDABAD: A 35-year-old woman was stabbed to death by two intruders on Wednesday night at her home opposite Gaekwad Haveli in Raikhad. One of the accused has been identified as a former employee of the victim's husband, and the other is his friend.
They were caught by locals when the victim's three daughters shouted for help.
Gaekwad Haveli police first detained the accused on Friday and arrested them late on Saturday.

Firozkhan Pathan, 39, lives with his family at Saiyad Avenue opposite Gaekwad Haveli. He and his wife, Sajeda Bano, have three daughters .
When Pathan reached home, he found a crowd below his residence. "As a policeman was near the spot, the two accused were nabbed from the crime spot itself," said V M Shelar, inspector of Gaekwad Haveli police station.
"Pathan knew Saddam Husain Shaikh, his former employee, and Shaikh's friend Mustufa Shaikh," he added
Shelar said that Saddam had worked at Pathan's business for over three years, but was kicked out five months ago after he was found siphoning off money.

Saddam's primary questioning has revealed that he was jobless . Due to his association with Pathan and visits to his house, he knew that he would surely find some money at Pathan's house. He targeted Pathan's house. But when Sajeda recognized him, Saddam realized that even if he got away with the loot, he would not be able to escape. The duo then assaulted her with knives while the three little girls started shouting for help. This attracted passers-by.
Sajeda was taken to VS Hospital while bleeding profusely. She was treated in the ICU. However, she succumbed to injuries at around 9.50 pm.
