Stones pelted at train, youth's vision impaired

HYDERABAD: A student travelling in a train suffered an injury in the eye after unidentified miscreants pelted stones at the train at Falaknuma on Friday night. Kachiguda police said Raghunath, 25, was coming to Hyderabad from Kurnool by the Tungabhadra Intercity Express, when miscreants rained stones on it.
Raghunath, who hurt his eye, was taken to LV Hospital where doctors said his vision was badly affected.
Police were looking for CCTV footage in the locality to identify the miscreants. Police said the area was notorious for incidents of stone-pelting on trains.
