BBAU toppers toget fee waiver

Lucknow: Implementing its decision to waive tuition fees of its toppers, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) has asked the heads and coordinators of all the departments to send a list of meritorious students for fee reimbursement. The decision to refund tuition fee of toppers was taken by the vice-chancellor in 2015 and will be implemented from the current academic session. More than 350 students are expected to benefit from the scheme.
The benefit will be given to toppers of every semester and in each course. In this regard, the departmental heads have been asked to provide the amount of total tuition fee along with the original fee receipt of all the eligible students. BBAU's officiating spokesperson Govind Pandey said the scheme is meant to reward meritorious students and also provide financial help to those who come from economically weaker backgrounds.
