KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday said that property worth around Rs 850,000 was stolen from the Changathali Saving and Credit Co-operative Ltd at Changathali, Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City-11.

According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified thieves broke into the office after breaking the padlock of the main door on Thursday and made off with Rs 820, 499 in cash and a gold bangle weighing half tola.

Police said that they are searching for the suspects.
