Sports Meet gets underway at Army Goodwill School Potha

POONCH, Sept 30: With an aim to give impetus to sports, Army Goodwill School, Potha in Surankote tehsil is conducting its Annual Sports meet which include inter-class matches of Volleyball, Kho-Kho and Basketball for students from class 7th to 10th.
The meet commenced on October 29 and will be conducted over the next four days and the finals for all events will be held on October 3. Army Goodwill School, Potha is one of the premier educational institutions in Poonch district which aims towards overall development of students.
Apart from providing quality education, the school also endeavours to provide quality sports facilities for students. Presently 620 students are pursuing studies at Army Goodwill School, Potha.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the school encouraged the students to make the best use of such occasions to display their sporting talent. He also laid emphasis on the importance of games and sports for the overall physical and personality development of children.
