Harry Redknapp was secretly filmed talking about a match where his players bet on themselves to win, according to the latest findings from the Daily Telegraph investigation into football corruption.

According to the paper, Redknapp revealed that his players 'had a spread bet' on a certain scoreline after they discovered that the team was priced at long odds by the bookies. The team won easily and the players won their bet.

The agent filmed in the video alongside Redknapp also revealed that the opposing team bet on the game. No player or team names were mentioned.

There is no suggestion by the Telegraph that Redknapp was involved in 'any criminality, or that he knew the opposition players were betting, or that he was aware his own players had bet on the match when the game kicked off'.

However, if he failed to raise the matter with the FA after finding out, that would be against the association's rules.

When contacted by the Telegraph about the allegations, the former Spurs, Southampton, West Ham and Portsmouth manager reportedly said, “Who gives a s--- about that?”.
