Governor NN Vohra has greeted people on Navratras and prayed for communal harmony, brotherhood, peace, progress and prosperity in the state.
The Governor said Navratras had an added significance as a large number of pilgrims from all parts of the country visit the Vaishno Devi shrine during this time.
Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has greeted the people on the commencement of the Navratras.
The Chief Minister has prayed for peace, communal harmony, brotherhood, progress and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Sigh has also greeted the people on the beginning of the auspicious period of Navratras.
