HS-UK to host 2017 Retina Symposium – Save the Date
Harlow, Essex (PRWEB UK) 30 September 2016 -- Haag-Streit UK (HS-UK), the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard optometry and ophthalmic equipment, is delighted to confirm details of its upcoming 2017 Retina Symposium.
The goal of the HS-UK 2017 Retina Symposium is to bring together retina specialists from all over the UK and further afield to facilitate a wider exchange of ideas and concepts and to evoke stimulating discussions, focusing on current and future treatment and management strategies in medical and surgical retina care.
Dr Pearse A. Keane will be chairing the HS-UK 2017 Retina Symposium. Other confirmed members of the faculty include;

- Dr Michel Puech, Ophthalmologist, Centre Explore Vision Paris
- Ms Rehna Khan, Consultant Ophthalmologist, Calderdale Hospitals NHS Trust

- Marco Morales, Nottingham Centre for Eye Research
- Serge Pierrache, International Sales Director, EMEA Optovue.
Additional speakers are still to be confirmed. The Symposium will cover a variety of topics, including;
- OCT angiography (OCT-A)
- Next-generation laser therapy
- Wide-field, true colour and auto-fluorescence imaging
- Micro-perimetry.
The Symposium will be held at the historic Midland Hotel in Manchester on 30th January 2017. The one-day program consists of short lectures, followed by workshops and question-and-answer sessions with the audience. The event will also provide invaluable networking opportunities.
Grant Duncan, HS-UK Clinical Training Manager, commented “The symposium’s main educational objective is to encourage learning through discussion and practical hands-on experience. Our excellent faculty of specialists will ensure an engaging and stimulating series of lectures, covering a variety of subjects. The Symposium will provide an excellent forum for clinicians to exchange and share ideas and innovations with their peers.”
The delegate price for the Symposium will be £100, which includes lunch and refreshments.
