GORAKHPUR: The family members of 34-year-old sepoy Ganesh Shankar Yadav of Ghoora Palli village in Sant Kabir Nagar are happy after surgical operation of Indian army in Pak Occupied Kashmir on Thursday. Ganesh Shankar Yadav, a sepoy of Bihar regiment, was killed in Uri attack.
Suresh Yadav, the elder brother of the martyr, said that he is happy that Indian Army took at least some action against Pakistan and terrorists.

"It is satisfying that Indian forces entered POK and killed the terrorists and also Pak soldiers. Indian forces should kill 20,000 terrorists and Pakistani soldiers for 20 Indian soldiers. I appreciate the operation against Pakistan and the Government should give free hand to Indian armed forces."
Martyr's wife Gudia Devi also expressed happiness over Indian surgical operation. She said, "The government should give more powers to army as it could give proper answer to Pakistan. I appreciate surgical operation by Indian armed forces."
Martyr's mother Kalawati Devi also expressed satisfaction over the Indian action in POK.
"My father and uncle died a few month back and my younger brother, who was the earning member of the family has also gone. My younger sister is yet to be married and I have two children. After the death of my brother I have to look after three children of my brother too. We have received Rs 20 lakh from the chief minister but it is very less," Suresh Yadav said.
Village chief of Ghora Palli Anil Nishad said: "I urge the government to give them at least Rs 50 lakh and a government job to at least one member of the family. We also want to have a statue of Ganesh Shankar and a martyr memorial in his name."
