AURANAGABAD: In a bid to save travel time, the Aurangabad Jilha Chemists and Druggists Association (AJCDA) have decided to organise a registration camp for fresh pharma graduates, both diploma or degree holders, who are yet to register with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council (MSPC) on Friday at the Aushadhi Bhawan.
Generally, the graduates from the region would travel to Mumbai to complete the procedure.

AJCDA president Raosaheb Khedkar said, "In an attempt to make it convenient for the fresh pharma graduates, both diploma or degree holders hailing from Marathwada region, AJCDA has been organising such camps every year."
"The camp will be funtional from 10am to 5pm. The graduates must carry a photograph, photo identification proof, ration card or domicile certificate, date of birth certificate, school leaving certificate, mark sheets of the I and II years in case of D.Pharmarcy and mark sheets of all years in case of B.Pharmacy," said Khedkar.
AJCDA secretary Dilip Thole said that the registration will be given on the spot to candidates with valid documents.
The council has now made it mandatory for every pharmacist to renew registration every 10 years instead of the earlier provision whereby they could obtain a lifelong registration certificate.
Thole said, "The association has been organising such camps for the past 10 years. This has benefited around 450-500 students every year."
