Seems like actress Shamna Kasim is on a signing spree in Tollywood, especially horror movies.
After being part of films such as Raju Gari Gadhi, Avunu and Avunu 2, Shamna will again be seen in director Sri Raj’s Avantika.
The actress has already started shooting for the movie in Hyderabad and says that it will not just be spooky but will also deal with a social issue.

The Chattakkari actress says, “Avantika talks about how girls are sacrificed to gods in villages. The movie revolves around one such incident where a woman is brutally killed and this leads to a tale of revenge.”
Having done back-to-back horror films in Tollywood, the actress has apparently earned a new nickname. “People have actually started calling me ‘horror queen’,” she gushes. “It has become so obvious that they often ask me which horror film I am doing next. That said, I make sure that each role I do has a different tinge to it.”
So what makes Avantika different? “I play a dual role in the film and there is a flashback to the entire story just as in Anushka Shetty’s Arundathi. Compared to my previous movies, this has a female-centric story.”
