PATNA: Two years after they lost family friend Lt Col Sankalp Shukla in a terror attack in Uri, Patna's restaurant couple Puja and Chiranjeevi Chaudhary on Thursday burst into celebrations following the Indian Army's strike in PoK and announced 20% discount to guests at their 'Mezbaan' in the city's Rupaspur locality.
The restaurant, known for its Punjabi and tandoor cuisines, will offer the discount till Sunday.
"We will offer free dishes to one and all at our restaurant the day our Army kills Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar," a visibly elated Puja told TOI. Col Shukla along with seven other security personnel laid down his life fighting terrorists who attacked on the Mohura Army camp in Uri on December 2, 2014. Three J& K policemen were also killed. Puja, a childhood pal of the martyred officer's wife Priya Sankalp, said, "The Shuklas and we had planned to celebrate their tenth marriage anniversary in January 2015 at our restaurant, but the tragedy struck Priya."
