Producer of Thoppil Joppan accused of insulting Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan

According to reports, in order to clear the air, Noushad issued a clarification while talking to a Malayalam portal. He said that it was an “error” by the team that manages his online social media accounts.

Onam festival has been the favourite time to release films for Mohanlal and Mammootty as for years fans have witnessed their clash at the box office. Thoppil Joppan was expected to release along with with Mohanlal’s Oppam and Prithviraj’s Oozham on Onam but it was delayed.

The film is now gearing up to release on October 7 along with Pulimurugan. And fans of Malayalam film stars have already become active ahead of the new releases. Besides defending their favorite star against online trolls, they also indulge in trolling other films and actors.

The first teaser of Thoppil Joppan was released to announce the impending arrival of the “achayan” but the video didn’t show Mammooty’s character. And fans of Mohanlal saw an opportunity in the teaser to troll the movie.
