Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Sep 29 2016 5:03PM Environment Minister visits Loktak lakeImphal, Sep 29 (UNI) Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Anil Madhav Dave today visited Loktak lake at Bishenpur district along with state Forest Minister, I Hemochandra. Mr Dave also visited Keibul Lamjao National Park where the Sangai (brow antlered deer) lives. The visiting Minister was briefed about the endangered species which lives on the floating park in the lake. He then visited the Wildlife Check post and reviewed the works taken up to protect the national park. The Union Minister discussed the issues related to environment , forest conservation, wildlife and management of Loktak Lake with the officials.
