Judge orders whiny neighbors warring with bright lights to shut their blinds

A Manhattan judge is calling lights out in a feud between two Tribeca neighbors who are warring — with such weaponry as a brightly lit big-screen TV and a floodlight.

Kiddie gymnastics business owner Suellen Epstein was hopping mad that neighbor Rich Miele let his 50-inch TV set shine into her unit across the way.

So in retaliation she blasted the man’s window with a “Broadway-style” spotlight. Miele sued over the quality-of-life affront.

Now Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Joan Kenney has ordered both sides to fix the feud by drawing their blinds at night when they have their TV or lights on.

Miele’s attorney, Zachary Kozak, said he is pleased that Epstein has stopped shining lights in his client’s window since he filed suit. But, he added, he’s reviewing the portion of the ruling that requires Miele to close his blinds.

Epstein declined to comment.
