The launch of Jenn Graham's first book of poetry, "Rhyme Without Reason" was held at DA Yates on Tuesday evening September 20.
Jenn and her poetry were introduced by Roma Sinclair, who chose one of Jenn's early poems to read to the guests.
(Ironically about drought in Australia!) Jenn then went on to speak about some of the fascinating characters from her early life who encouraged and inspired her to become a poet.
All who attended agreed that the excellent company, delicious food and sparkles in a glass made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening!

CAMP QUALITY
TRACTOR TREK:
The 2016 Camp Quality Tractor Trek arrived in Grenfell on Saturday afternoon.
They stopped for afternoon tea at the Railway Station Complex, had a great night with an auction and fundraising dinner at the Bowling Club and enjoyed a hot breakfast prepared by the Lions Club again at the Railway Station at 7am on Sunday before heading to Greenethorpe and Cowra.
Graeme Eggelston the director of the Camp Quality Trek said to date that Trek had raised at the moment around $251,000 and that the Grenfell Lions Club certainly helped them reach that goal.
Courtney Taylor, daughter of Leigh and Margo was home in Grenfell and attended the dinner.
Courtney addressed those present and relayed her experiences at Camp Quality.
CHRYSLER CAR RALLY:
On a very cool, windy Tuesday the 14th National Car Chrysler Car Rally visited the historic Iandra Castle where the Grenfell Lions Club provided a boxed luncheon for around 160 of the travellers.
Following the tour of the castle and lunch, the rally travelled into Grenfell to visit the Chrysler Car Museum in Main Street,
If you were lucky enough to be in the street, you would have viewed some magnificent vehicles before they headed back to their base in Cowra.
This large-scale event rotates between NSW, Victoria and South Australia every three years.
Rally Director, Brian Kelleher visited several sites in Central West NSW organising the tour.
