SIALKOT-The Education Department has detected 147 male and female absentees deputed in different government schools in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils.
District Monitoring Officer (DMO) Aamir Raza said that these teachers were getting salaries while remaining absent from their duties since their appointments by using their political influence.
The DMO said that 47 male and female teachers have been terminated from their jobs with immediate effect in the first phase by the Punjab Education Department. It has also ordered for recovering the amount they got as salaries and stern legal action against their facilitators in the Sialkot Education Department. He said that the rest of the 100 male and female teachers would also be terminated from their jobs soon in the second phase of termination.
RTO SIALKO GETS NEW STRUCTURE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has divided the Regional Tax Office (RTO) Sialkot into 22 circles and two zones, and the new structure will be functional from October 01, 2016.
RTO Office Sialkot comprises Sialkot, Narowal and Gujrat districts. According to Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Syed Imran Raza Kazmi, under the new division, there would be 12 circles in Sialkot district, eight circles in Gujrat district and 2 circles will be in Narowal district for expanding the tax net and bring maximum people under the tax net. Assistant Commissioner income tax or deputy commissioner income tax would be the in-charge of each circle, he added.
