NAGPUR: Crucial statistics related to Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) scheme will be revealed during a workshop in Nagpur to be held this Friday, by a CBSE empaneled agency Chysallis that’s based in Chennai. The agency has worked with over 120 schools across the country for implementation of CCE and will be holding a training session for teachers and principals of CBSE schools in Nagpur.

Sundar Raj, head of corporate communications for the group said, “Our research based on pan-India data collected during our interaction and sessions with schools has revealed some very interesting statistics about CCE. We will be sharing this data during our visit to Nagpur.” Without getting into the details, Raj said the key to success of CCE lies in its implementation.
CCE, as the name suggests, is a comprehensive method of evaluation which is being implemented in Std IX and X. In each academic session there are four formative assessments (FA) and two summative assessments (SA). The SAs are theory papers while FAs are the co-curricular method of evaluation like project work, debate etc.
