Garth Brooks has made history with his seventh diamond-certified album, according to TheBoot.com.

The country singer is now the artist with the most diamond honors, according to Recording Industry Association of America's Gold & Platinum Program.

Brooks' seventh diamond release became his 2007 The Ultimate Hits collection on September 21. The previous six albums that reached diamond status are Fences, Garth Brooks, Double Live, Sevens, The Hits and Ropin' the Wind.

The country singer now has more diamond records than The Beatles, however, the British band still exceeds Brooks for the most certified units sold.

Brooks is currently on his world tour with wife Trisha Yearwood. He began the tour in 2014 and is planning to wrap it up in about three years later, in 2017.
