Amazon Prime Just got a Big Beauty Upgrade

If the latest news from Amazon Prime Now is a window into the future of beauty buying, you won’t have to imagine that scenario for much longer.

Users of the ultra-fast delivery service in Chicago can now add beauty and skin care products to the growing list of items, including groceries, food and gifts, that they can have delivered to their doorstep in just one hour. Amazon recently announced that it's adding its first ever beauty retailer, Merz Apothecary, to the super fast Prime Now delivery service in Chicago. Merz Apothecary, one of the city’s largest beauty retailers, specializes in unique and natural beauty and skin care products from countless beauty brands like Avène, Klorane, Ursa Major, Dr. Hauschka, ILIA, Smith & Cult, RMS Beauty and many more.
The Prime Now service offers free two-hour delivery and charges an $8 fee for one-hour delivery, seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to midnight in Chicago. Although this is Amazon Prime Now’s first beauty partnership, we hope to see many more rolling out in other Prime Now cities so we can get face creams and foundations faster than we get a pizza.
