Gradeup adds courses for CAT and JEE exams to its existing tests

PUNE: Mobile test preparation application, Gradeup, recently added courses for common admission test (CAT) and joint entrance examination (JEE) exams to its existing tests. With this launch, Gradeup is now catering to more than 70% of the test preparation market in India, a statement by the app providers said here on Wednesday. Within the first three weeks of the launch, the new modules have been downloaded by over 50,000 students with the total user base crossing 16 lakh across 190 cities.
The statement added that, after the launch of CAT and JEE online modules, the number of daily registrations has shot up by over 20%. It has received a huge number of registrations from Delhi, Maharashtra, Kolkata, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, with more aspirants expected to join the e-community over the next few months. Every year, lakhs of candidates attempt both the CAT and JEE. They join coaching institutes to prepare for these exams and the size of the batches, which are usually in hundreds, makes it difficult for a lot of students to personalize the experience as per their learning needs, in such an environment, added the statement.
