Tom Hanks says he is 'not interested' in playing a good guy
Hollywood star Tom Hanks will soon be seen in the billion-dollar Dan Brown franchise 'Inferno', which hits theatres on October 14. Stepping back into the shoes of famous symbologist Robert Langdon, the film will see the actor team up with Felicity Jones (Sienna Brooks) in a race against time to decipher a trail of clues and stop a madman from unleashing a global virus. 'Inferno' will also see Bollywood star Irrfan Khan playing the third lead, who will reportedly take the story forward.
In an exclusive interview with Bombay Times, Tom spilt the beans on his film, his character and much more. Although he may be seen playing a saviour of sorts in the film, Tom said he is 'not interested' in playing a good guy. He said, 'I am not interested in playing a good guy per se but I am certainly not interested in playing a bad guy just for the sake of playing a bad guy.'
