Unable to bear the loss of his childhood friend, a 28-year-old youth committed suicide on Tuesday night by jumping in front of a train in Hyderabad.
Software engineer, G Hari Krishna, and his childhood friend, K Ramesh, were returning on a motorbike to their rented flat in Kukatpally when they met with an accident. Hari Krishna who was driving died on the spot.
After shifting him to a hospital, a grieving Ramesh rushed to the railway track and jumped in front of a train. Parents of the youths told the police that the two friends were inseparable and Ramesh was inconsolable. Hailing from Karampudi of Guntur district, Hari and Ramesh were neighbours and childhood friends.
After passing engineering, Hari worked in Malaysia for several years and when he got a job, he moved to Hyderabad. Ramesh also moved to Hyderabad and got a job at a private hospital. They were living in a rented flat in Kukatpally since last two years.
