MBABANE – Sensational Swazi hip hop artist and producer Flameboy Universe, whose debut song ‘Nowerdays’ was recently reported to have been accepted on Jay Z’s Tidal online music store, continues to have his star rising.

The artist has been personally invited to attend the ARTIIFACT tour which kicks off in Johannesburg, South Africa this Friday.
This was revealed by media consultant Bongani Dube, who said the invite, which came through Anatii’s A&R team, came with five free tickets.
The tickets  worth about E1 500  each  are for five Swazi fans who would like to travel and attend the show at either of the two venues, Johannesburg and Durban.

“South African hip-hop musician Anatii is bringing American R&B singer Omarion to South Africa for his tour, whose title is taken from the title of his debut album ARTIIFACT.
‘‘Anatti’s team made friends with Flameboy Universe few years ago during his brief stay in South Africa, and they caught wind of his recent feats in Swaziland, hence the invite,” said Dube.

Brokered

Flameboy Universe became one of the very few Swazi artists to stream and sell his music on over 250 online music stores, courtesy of a deal which was brokered by Langalam.com. The company, which acts as an aggregator, distributed Flameboy Universe’s  song to stores like Amazon, Deezer, Spotify, iTunes, Shazaam, Microsoft Music, to name but a few.
The song titled ‘Nowerdays’, also recently topped the revamped SBIS Top 20 charts, when it amassed over 150 votes for two consecutive weeks.

Currently, it sits on second position on the weekly official charts.
