Alia Bhatt NOT doing Ajay Devgn starrer 'Golmaal 4'? Here's the truth

New Delhi: Bollywood is a place where friendships are either handled with care or 'I don't have friends in the industry' rule applies unsaid. So, if a mentor has an apparent fallout with a biggie, the protege suffers the most. In this case, we are referring to Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar.

According to BollywoodLife.com, Alia Bhatt was offered Rohit Shetty's 'Golmaal 4' opposite Ajay Devgn but the actress has now refused to be a part of it. The report states that it is probably due to the Karan Johar-Ajay Devgn clash ('Ae Dil Hai Mushkil-Shivaay').

The report mentions that after Kareena Kapoor Khan opted out of 'Golmaal 4' as she is expecting, Alia remained the first choice of the makers from the younger lot. Interestingly, she too was keen to do the film but after the reported fallout between her mentor Karan and Ajay, the possibility of her working with the latter became a little uncertain

BollywoodLife.com quotes a source as saying that suddenly Alia became all busy with no dates for 'Golmaal 4'. 

However, no official statement regarding the casting of the film has been made as yet.
