Earlier, we had reported that director Ramkumar of Mundasupatti fame is all set to direct an investigative cop thriller. Recently, Vishnu Vishal announced that he is once again joining hands with Ramkumar for this untitled film.
Speaking to DC, Ramkumar says, “Initially, I was supposed to do the film under CV Kumar’s banner and had also signed Jai for the lead. Since, CV Kumar got busy with Maayavan, I felt that my movie is getting delayed. I told him about this and he courteously understood. He asked me to do the film with a different production and added that we might team up later for a film. We had issues with Jai’s dates as well. That is why, there was a change in the cast and crew.”
This untitled film is set in Chennai and the team is planning to shoot the flashback portion in a hill station. “I worked on this script for nearly one-and-a-half years. The story will also have subtle awareness message in it,” he states.
Actors Kaali Venkat and Ramadoss, cinematographer Shankar and art director Gopi are part of the team.
