Lucknow: Chief minister
Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday inaugurated a mega call centre in Lucknow aimed exclusively at gathering feedback from beneficiaries of 20 government welfare schemes of 13 different departments of the state government and to bring about more transparency in ensuring that benefits of the schemes were reaching the target population of the state.

reliable feedback direct from around 2 crore beneficiaries of various welfare schemes on the basis of which government will be able to make modifications for transparency and quality," he said on the occasion.
Outlining the need for the call centre, he said, "These are people who don't know about the government schemes in the first place and such endeavours will help us reach out to more and more people."
