Get ready for a dynamic duo like you've never seen before.

Viola Davis and Denzel Washington are hitting the big screen together in their new film Fences and just as a warning, you may want to grab your tissues for this one.

The film is set in the 1950s and follows the story of a Black former baseball player and his family in Pittsburgh. Davis and Washington play married couple Troy and Rose in the movie. 

The tearful trailer for Fences recently landed and shows a particularly emotional scene between the two.

"It's not easy for me to admit I've been standing in the same place for 18 years," Troy, played by Washington, says. "Well, I've been standing with you. I gave 18 years of my life in the same spot as you," Rose, played by Davis, replies.

Washington not only stars in the film, but is also credited as its director. Meanwhile, Davis is on a roll as she's also confirmed to star in Steve McQueen's heist film Widows.
