An improvised explosive device (IED) kept in a pressure cooker was recovered on the Srinagar-Baramulla national highway today.

The IED was detected by the Army at around 11.30 am near Zangam, nearly 30 km from Srinagar. The traffic on the highway was also blocked after the detection of the IED.
