18:31 GMT 27.09.2016 (Updated: 11:16 GMT 06.08.2022) The US State Department cannot say if US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov are going to hold a conversation within the next 48 hours on the Syrian ceasefire, department spokesperson Mark Toner said on Tuesday.
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — However, the US is open for dialogue on the matter, Toner added.
“I can’t say with certainty that they [Kerry and Lavrov] will talk in the next 24 hours or 48 hours,” Toner told reporters.
