“I’ve more pairs of shoes than my wife”

Do you take an active interest in the clothes you wear when stepping out?
A lot more now than I did in my early days. I find fashion far more interesting today as I’ve got money to spend. I make sure I shop while on holiday, stock up my wardrobe and then wear everything in the first week itself when I get back. So that I can put them away to avoid being seen in the same outfit twice. We all know what the fashion police is like.

What’s the one fashion trend you want to erase?
Fishnet vest for men. They should have been dubbed illegal from the start itself.

Describe your personal style in one word.
Mine abd only mine.

Who are your go-to designers?
Tom Ford, Dolce &
Gabbana and my old faithful Unconditional.

What’s the one thing you don’t leave your home without?
Baseball cap… Gotta hide from those sneaky paparazzi.

If you were a garment, which one would you be?
(Winks)  Denim jeans because they see all the action.

What’s the one trend you’re lusting over right now?
I lust over nothing.

Is there any clothing/accessory you have a huge collection of?
Shoes. I have more pairs than my wife Twinkle.

Has there ever been an outfit you’ve worn to an event only to regret it later?
God yeah but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it. Some people didn’t like it. Had I hated it I’d never have worn it. Fashion is a dodgy world to dabble in. But that’ll never stop me from trying.

What was your first luxury high-end purchase?
An Armani suit.

How important a role does your wife play in giving final touches to your looks before you leave the house?
My wife can’t help but have a say, which is a blessing as the woman is always right.

The most fashionable character you’ve played on screen…
Probably my favourite characters in Namastey London and Singh Is Kinng.

If you could wear one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?

My British checkered
pyjamas.

Who are your style inspirations?
George Clooney, Jude Law
and David Beckham…

What are your wardrobe essentials?
Laceless Tiger pumps, white t-shirts, blue denim jeans and a baseball cap.
