Hitman gets its penultimate Season 1 chapter today, as the fifth episode, Freedom Fighters, has arrived.

Publisher Square Enix marked the occasion with a launch trailer that shows Agent 47 infiltrating a farm compound that serves as a private militia training camp. Freedom Fighters is said to be the most challenging chapter so far, in part because there are four main targets to take down compared to the two that previous chapters had. The video, which expands on last week's teaser trailer, shows off some of the brutal kills that Agent 47 can perform, one of which involves an ax to the face.

"This will be the toughest assignment yet for Agent 47. Players must utilize all the skills learned so far," developer IO Interactive said when announcing the chapter earlier this month. Studio head Hannes Seifer explained that Freedom Fighters is a "key episode" that will "add serious momentum to the story and set up an intriguing season finale for players."

There are also new weapons, gear, disguises, and trophies/achievements to unlock, while players will begin with a new Tactical Gear starting suit.

Freedom Fighters is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If you already own the $15 Intro Pack, you can pick up the episode for $10. You can also get all six with the $60 Full Experience edition.

Hitman: The Complete First Season, which contains all the content released for the game so far, will launch on January 31, 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One. Freedom Fighters and the final episode, which will take place in Japan, will also be included.

Looking ahead, Square Enix has told fans they can expect at least two more seasons of extra content for Hitman, but Season 2 and Season 3 have yet to be formally announced.
