Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Sep 27 2016 7:38PM Andaman Lt Guv gives consent for complete ban on tobacco productsPort Blair, Sep 27 (UNI) Lt Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands Prof Jagadish Mukhi has given his consent for complete ban on tobacco products in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and it is expected that the ban will be imposed from October 2, 2016, according to Andaman’s Commissionerate of Food Safety. According to the Office of the Commissionerate of Food Safety, the ban on the manufacture, storage, distribution and sale of all forms of processed, flavoured, scented, chewing tobacco, whether going by the name of Gutka, Pan Masala, Zarda pack and unpacked lose, tobacco leaf in any form and pan masala based sugar boiled based confectionaries, in the entire Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands will be for a period of one year from October 2 in the interest of public health.Please log in to get detailed story.Tags: #Andaman Lt Guv gives consent for complete ban on tobacco products
