Stan Lee's cameos are the common thread that unite all the movies featuring Marvel superheroes, no matter which studio made them. Now Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has revealed that the legendary comic book creator has filmed no fewer than four new cameos for future movies.

Feige was speaking after a screening of Captain America: Civil War to promote the new Blu-ray release when he mentioned Lee's recent work in front of the camera.

"We do not shoot random ones," he said, via Collider. "They're always specific. A couple of months ago in Atlanta, [Lee] flew down and we shot four in one day--for four various projects.

"They're all awesome! They're all totally different. And he was unbelievable. He was on fire. He came in, he sat here, he stood there, he stood in this window, and then he went home."'

In other news about the superhero pioneer, it was recently reported that Lee's life story was being developed into an action adventure movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox has bought his life rights, with the producers of Twilight and the upcoming Power Rangers overseeing the project.

The site reports that rather than turn Lee's life story into a straight biopic, the studio is looking to adapt it into a period action adventure, with the tone of Kingsman: The Secret Service or "Roger Moore's 007."

Lee's first break in the comics industry came in 1961, when he co-created the Fantastic Four with artist Jack Kirby, after years of struggling as a writer for a variety of publishers. In the following years he helped create such as now-legendary superheroes as Spider-Man, Hulk, the X-Men, and Iron Man.
