One person was thrown from a vehicle and killed in a roll-over crash involving two vehicles early Tuesday morning, authorities from the Colorado State Patrol say.
The gender, age and identity of the victim was not immediately available.
The crash happened at 6:27 a.m. at the intersection of Jewell Avenue and Parker Road, CSP Trooper Nate Reid said.
The accident could dramatically impact the morning commute.
The northbound lanes of Parker Road are closed between Mississippi and Iliff avenues for investigation of the the crash, according to a CSP report.
Northbound commuters are being funneled onto the median. The southbound lanes are open but traffic is slow through the accident area, according to reports.
