BENGALURU: Watch out for new traffic diversions at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA). The Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has changed the routes for private vehicles coming to pick and drop passengers from the airport to streamline the traffic movement. The traffic will be segregated for vehicles that come to drop passengers and the route to enter remains unchanged. But they will have to take a right turn to exit from the arrival gate number 9 and return on the main access road of the airport.

But those who have to pick up flyers will have to go straight up to the arrival gate number 11 and go past the P1 and P2 parking areas and then take left towards the arrival gate bay.
These vehicles should follow the signages and take a right and exit after passing by the Taj hotel in the airport premises.
The changes are made with immediate effect. BIAL officials said they will create notification of these diversions to be disseminated through the newly launched BLR Airport app.
